his first car race -- after Finland's JJ Lehto suffered neck
injury in pre-season testing. Had big accident during race.
Escaped with minor burns from pit-lane fireball when his
Benetton caught fire during refuelling at
Hockenheim.

Moves to Simtek. Team closed
down because of sponsorship problems. Tested for Benetton and
